RAS Prelims Syllabus

The RAS Prelims syllabus of RAS is vast, students need to study from every aspect, subjects have their own weightage.

1. History, Art, Culture, Literature, Tradition and Heritage of Rajasthan

This section includes logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, number and letter series, coding-decoding, relationships and basic mental ability.

8. Current Affairs

This section covers important current events and issues related to Rajasthan, India and the world. It includes important government schemes, national and international events, sports, awards, important personalities and other recent developments.

RAS Mains Exam Pattern

The RAS Mains examination consists of four compulsory papers. Each paper is important because candidates have to appear for all four papers.

General Studies-I

Last stage of the Examination- Interview

The RAS Interview is the last stage of the examination, which is conducted as a personality assessment. Unlike the RAS Prelims and Mains examination, there is no fixed list of questions that will be asked. The interview board can ask questions based on the candidate’s application form, education, home district, Rajasthan, current affairs, hobbies and other areas.
