Which degree can support IAS preparation?

UPSC does not restrict Civil Services candidates to one graduation stream. Choose a recognized degree based on your aptitude, academic goals and career alternatives.

BA with UPSC coaching

A Bachelor of Arts programme may include history, geography, political science, sociology, public administration, economics or related disciplines. These can overlap with General Studies or an optional subject, depending on the university syllabus.

BA LLB with UPSC coaching

The integrated law route combines arts and legal studies. Learning about the Constitution, law, governance and society can support parts of UPSC preparation, but students should account for the five-year degree workload.

B.Com with UPSC coaching
